Financial market to remain shut for Mahashivratri

Mumbai: Domestic stock, bond and forex markets will remain closed on Friday on account of Mahashivratri.

Yesterday BSE SP Sensex closed 153 points lower at 41,170 while the Nifty 50 slipped up by 45 points to 12,081. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty IT, FMCG, pharma and financial service in the red.(PTI)
