The final seats of Brindabella and Ginninderra still remain too close to call, but Labor remains behind in both seats after counting on Thursday.

The Canberra Liberals' candidate Peter Cain is leading Labor's Gordon Ramsay in Ginninderra by 98 votes, with about 97 per cent of the votes counted.

The race remains super tight in south Canberra's Brindabella electorate. ACT Greens candidate Johnathan Davis has a slight edge on Labor's Taimus Werner-Gibbings, up by 23 votes.

As of 6.45pm on Thursday, preferences had been distributed from all polling places, after preferences from Watson and Mawson booths were added. Overseas preferences were also distributed on Thursday.

Counting of postal, declaration and interstate distributions continues.
