'Final Fantasy VII Remake' gets a release date

MANILA, Philippines – Ahead of E3 proper, fans of Final Fantasy VII can rest assured knowing 2020 will be a good day to fight in Midgar.

Square Enix officially revealed the release date for the first installment of Final Fantasy VII Remake at the Final Fantasy VII – A Symphonic Reunion concert in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 9 (June 10, Manila time).

Specifically, the game is set to come out on March 3, 2020, and the trailer gives some tantalizing glimpses of gameplay and story. – Rappler.com
