The Indianapolis Colts wrapped up the preseason Thursday night with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium and will now look to trim the roster.
In one fell swoop, the Colts will trim the roster down from 90 to 53 players as they prepare for the regular-season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 8.
Most players will be waived and thus will be placed on the waiver wire the following day. 10 of those players waived could wind up making up the practice squad. There are players from other teams that will be waived that the Colts are likely to bring in.
