Final Championship table predicted final finishing positions for 2018/19 season

A supercomputer has predicted the final table in the Sky Bet Championship with only three games left to play.

Leeds United’s promotion hopes suffered a blow following a surprise 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Wigan Athletic, while Sheffield United beat Nottingham Forest on Good Friday.

Norwich City struck late to move closer to the Premier League with a 2-2 home draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Easter Monday will see action from across the division and with tight margains at both ends of the table it could be a day that decides the outcome of the relegaton and promotion battles for some sides.

Supercomputer predicts Aston Villa vs Millwall, Brentford vs Leeds and Derby vs QPR  

The race for the playoffs remain wide open after both Bristol City and Derby County were held to draws, which allowed Middlesbrough to move into sixth after edging past Stoke City.

At the bottom, Bolton Wanderers’ relegation was confirmed and they will join Ipswich Town in League One next season.

There is still plenty to be decided by FootballWebPages have analysed the remaining fixtures with their supercomputer to come up with a predicted final table.

Norwich City are tipped to run away with the title, finishing with an astonishing 96 points, and Leeds are predicted to join them in the Premier League next season, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side finishing two points ahead of Sheffield United.

The Blades would have to settle for a spot in the playoffs and they are tipped to be joined by West Brom, Aston Villa and Bristol City, the latter finishing above Middlesbrough on goals scored.
