Annan now has a full complement for its historic summer festivities.
After a public vote on Friday, Kirsty Cooper was chosen to be this year’s Cornet’s Lass for the Riding of the Marches.
Kirsty, Cornet Ross Hunt and Standard Bearer Hilda McClanachan, received their sashes at a ceremony held in the town’s Newington Social Club on Saturday night.
Their supporters and this year’s Queen of the Border, Roxy Nicholson, also received their sashes for the event.
