Chelsea, Leicester City and Liverpool are locked in a three-way battle for the final two Champions League qualification spots.
Both Manchester clubs are already assured of a place in the top-four this season, with City reclaiming the Premier League trophy after relinquishing it to the Reds last term.
But which two clubs will join them at European football's top table next season?
As things stand, just three points separate FA Cup winners Leicester in third to a resurgent Liverpool side in fifth, with Chelsea sandwiched between ahead of welcoming the Foxes to Stamford Bridge in a huge clash on Tuesday night.
With two games of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign remaining, the final table could look very different come 6pm on Sunday afternoon.
In fact, Chelsea have been tipped to fail in their quest to secure Champions League football via their league position.
As per Football Web Pages, a final Premier League table has been simulated and it has the Blues finishing fifth behind Liverpool and Leicester.
Interestingly, Chelsea's predicted final points tally of 66 means they would end the season with draws at home to the Foxes as well as away at Aston Villa.
Liverpool have been tipped to rise from fifth to third, leapfrogging Brendan Rodgers' side with wins over Burnley and Crystal Palace.
In addition, it would be two points from a possible six for the Foxes against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, but matching the Blues' results would seal their return to the Champions League.
Qualification for the Champions League group phase is worth €15.25m (£13m) so the Blues would miss out on that cash injection if the aforementioned simulated table becomes a reality.
Of course, Chelsea could yet claim that windfall as beating Manchester City in the final later this month will see them back at Europe's top table next season.
