Final 2019/20 Premier League standings predicted - and it's great news for Arsenal and Chelsea

Premier League action returns this weekend after a busy international break for players across the competition.

Liverpool will be aiming to extend their advantage at the top when they take on Manchester United this Sunday.

The Reds lead two-time reigning champions Manchester City by eight points, while Arsenal are just one point behind the Blues at this early stage.

Leicester City, Chelsea and Crystal Palace make up the rest of the top six after eight matches.

The likes of Tottenham (ninth) and Manchester United (12th) have endured rough starts and will be hoping the return to action leads to an upturn in form.

There may be 30 rounds left in the 2019/20 Premier League season but that's not too early for plenty of definitive predictions on the outcome of the current campaign.

This latest prediction comes based on odds as SportNation have provided their predicted table for the rest of the season.

It's good news for Liverpool, who are backed to win the title above Man City. Chelsea will make the top four alongside Arsenal, while United are predicted to finish way back in seventh.

Newcastle United, Watford and Norwich City all make up the relegation zone in this predicted table based on odds.
