Fimbulwinter Stitch god rolls and how to get them in Destiny 2

Eva is back for the holiday season, and she brought a couple of new guns for you to chase in Destiny 2 during the Dawning. One of the new weapons is the Fimbulwinter Stitch sidearm, which isn’t exactly what you might expect.

Despite having the same model as The Call rocket sidearm, Fimbulwinter Stitch is a Precision Frame Arc sidearm. It comes with almost every Arc perk currently available in the sandbox and also has a couple of decent options to take into the Crucible.

Here are our Fimbulwinter Stitch god rolls for PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.

Fimbulwinter Stitch PvE god roll

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Appended Mag
  • Perk one: Supercharged Magazine
  • Perk two: Jolting Feedback
  • Masterwork: Range

Fimbulwinter Stitch PvP god roll

  • Barrel: Hammer-forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
  • Perk one: Rapid Hit
  • Perk two: Kill Clip
  • Masterwork: Range or reload speed

While it may not be a rocket sidearm, Fimbulwinter Stitch does have quite a few solid PvE options. The best generalist roll is Supercharged Magazine with Jolting Feedback. In a build that can consistently make you amplified, you’ll never run out of bullets thanks to Supercharged Magazine loading ammo, while also applying jolt at a faster rate with Jolting Feedback.

If you’re leaning into Bolt Charge, there’s also Trickle Charge with Rolling Storm. Trickle Charge refills the magazine when receiving and discharging Bolt Charge. It only works well in conjunction with Rolling Storm, which grants a Bolt Charge stack for every kill (two per kill when amplified).

Lastly, you can go for a more basic roll of Loose Change with Voltshot. Loose Change increases reload speed when applying an elemental debuff, like jolt from Voltshot. Voltshot allows the weapon to jolt targets for seven seconds when reloading after a kill and is a simple but consistent source of the Arc debuff.

On the PvP side, the god roll is very straightforward. As a Precision Frame, you want to use it at slightly longer ranges than Lightweights like Heliocentric QSc, but close enough to justify using Rapid Hit over Rangefinder. Rapid Hit increases reload speed when you land rapid precision hits, which also synergizes perfectly with Kill Clip in the fourth column. Kill Clip increases damage by 25 percent for 3.6 seconds when reloading after a kill, lowering the optimal time-to-kill down to 0.45s, requiring three precision hits.

Fimbulwinter Stitch is available during the Dawning event in Destiny 2. Complete Portal activities with the Distorted Dawning Engram as a bonus reward for a chance to get the sidearm or other event weapons, like the Mistral Lift linear fusion rifle.

You can also get additional copies of event weapons from Eva for 50 Dawning Spirit and by opening return gifts that vendors occasionally give when you deliver them festive treats. Regardless of the source, every weapon has a chance to be a Holofoil, with a unique snowy ornament.
