Grubby Scots homes wanted to feature in 'Filthy House SOS' series

Is your mucky home getting out of hand with dirt and grime and in need a scrub?

Scots with filthy houses are are needed to star on the next series of a hit  TV show.

Presenters on the cleaning show Filthy House SOS want to transform houses in just three days as part of the 5Star and Channel 5 programme.

Dirt-busting duo Jon and Brennan, dubbed the newest ‘Kim and Aggy’, presented the first series as they cleaned up some of the grimiest homes in the country.

The cleaning duo will spend three days in your home deep cleaning every nook and cranny until it sparkles.

The pair have tackled a house which hadn't been cleaned in 10 years with a microwave that glowed purple from the bacteria.

Another challenge saw the duo come to the aid of an emergency services worker who got behind on her housework when she began looking after her mother, who had dementia.

Producers of the show said: "Hit cleaning TV show Filthy House SOS  is back.

"We’re looking for people in the north to take part! Do you need help cleaning up your home and tips to keep it clean for good?"

Filming will take part in July, August and September and the on-screen cleaners will clean up the home in just three days.
