Filter and Fox on Duke Street has relaunched as a new cafe called Volpi

Duke Street favourite Filter and Fox closed its doors earlier this month after four in business - and now it has completely transformed.

The coffee and cocktail bar, which had amassed a cult following since its opening, has evolved into a brand new café called Volpi.

Taking its inspiration from the cafés and bars found in towns perched on the Italian and French Rivieras, Volpi will be serving up coffee, wine and apéritifs.

Classic pasta dishes and old Filter and Fox favourites such as the popular focaccia grilled cheese are on the menu too, alongside a range of breakfast dishes and sweet treats.

The cafe is inspired by the French and Italian Rivieras (Volpi)

The café itself has had a complete refurbishment, including a brand new bar and food station, and an exciting new colour scheme.

Gone are the mahogany tones, having been replaced with the teals and light blues of the Italian riviera.

Volpi is open from 8am - midnight Monday to Saturday, and 9am - midnight on Sundays.
