Filmmaker’s son killed after bike collides with truck in Karnataka

BENGALURU: A 20-year-old student, who sustained injuries on Friday night after the two-wheeler he was riding collided with a truck near Bydarahalli off Magadi Road, died on Saturday. A Mayur is the son of Suryoday, who has acted in a few Kannada movies and directed Tulu films.

Mayur from Health Layout in Annapoorneshwarinagar was riding the newly purchased motorcycle of his friend. A 13-year-old girl, who was riding pillion with him, is undergoing treatment.

The accident took place at 10.20pm when Mayur was travelling on Link Road near Muddayyanapalya. Hailing from Udupi, Mayur was a second-year commerce student at a private college.
