Film Weekly talks madness and seduction with Penélope Cruz

This week, Jason Solomons is joined by Penélope Cruz to discuss Woody Allen and Vicky Cristina Barcelona; Andrew Pulver to run the rule over this week's major new films; and Pixar's John Lasseter to chat about the new Disney animated spectacular, Bolt.

First up, Cruz tells Jason about her extreme gratitude for her Bafta and Oscar nominations, playing the seductive and unhinged Maria Elena in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and how she ended up playing go-between in the mutual admiration society of Pedro Almodóvar and Woody Allen.

Then, Andrew Pulver joins in to review David Fincher's multiple Oscar- and Bafta-nominated The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which looks set to be Woody Allen's highest-grossing film since 1989's Crimes and Misdemeanors; the barmy noodle western The Good, the Bad, the Weird; and the Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman-starring Doubt.

And finally, the man behind the pixels John Lasseter wears his official Bolt Hawaiian shirt to talk about the part-Truman Show, part-Lassie Come Home cartoon, his huge toy collection and how he's a dyed-in-the-wool Disney man.
