This week Jason Solomons meets the Swedish actor Noomi Rapace, currently starring alongside Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law in the Sherlock Holmes sequel. Rapace talks about her career-launching turn in the original films of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first English-language remake of which premiered this week and which Rapace reveals she was relieved not to be cast in.
Jason also meets the director DR Hood, who discusses her feature debut, Wreckers, a brooding sibling drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy.
Xan Brooks joins Jason to review some of this week's other releases including acclaimed documentary Dreams of a Life and the reissue of Christmas classic Meet Me in St Louis.
