Film Weekly meets Sugar's Ryan Fleck and reviews Terminator Salvation

On this edition of Film Weekly, Ryan Fleck, co-director of the Oscar-nominated Half Nelson, joins Jason Solomons to talk about his new film Sugar, a subtle take on the American dream through the story of a young Dominican baseball player chasing the big time in the minor leagues.

Xan Brooks then joins Jason to review the key releases this week, issuing a joint gold star to the highly recommended Sugar, locking horns over a scary Christian Bale in the unrelentingly bombastic Terminator Salvation, and welcoming a reissue of the classic Lindsay Anderson film This Sporting Life, with Richard Harris.

And finally, British writer and director Joel Hopkins tells Film Weekly how he managed to bypass the Hollywood system to cast Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman – with four Oscars between them – in his 'romantic-dramedy' Last Chance Harvey.
