Film Weekly meets Palme d'Or winner Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Fresh from the Cannes film festival but still with the Riviera very much in mind, Jason Solomons and the Film Weekly team are back in the studio this week.

They begin by speaking to Apichatpong Weerasethakul, whose film Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives picked up this year's Palme d'Or on Sunday evening. The Thai director – known colloquially as plain old Joe – currently has his installation Phantoms of Nebua showing at the BFI Gallery.

Next up is an extended interview with Stephen Kijak and John Battsekm, the filmmakers behind the new Rolling Stones documentary, Stones in Exile.

Finally, Xan Brooks pops into the pod to review frock fest Sex and the City 2 and Noel Clarke's latest work, 4,3,2,1.
