Film show: 'Farewell to the Night', 'Victor and Célia', 'The Mercy of the Jungle'

André Téchiné’s 26th feature film tackles a timely issue, as Catherine Deneuve plays the grandmother of a young man lured to a jihadist fate. Film critic Lisa Nesselson tells us why "Farewell to the Night" manages to convey the repercussions of this phenomenon, at a time when European countries are discussing just how to deal with the return of Islamist fighters and their families.

We also check out a "feel good" movie that navigates the twists and turns of establishing a small business in France, and "The Mercy of the Jungle" revisits the horrors of war in Rwanda through the story of two soldiers fighting for their lives.
