Films crews were spotted on a busy street in Bristol city centre today (Tuesday, April 18) shooting outside a café. Quay Street near Bristol Cenotaph is believed to be one of the numerous locations for the new Paramount+ show The Killing Kind, which stars Colin Morgan and Emma Appleton.
The Killing Kind is a series adaptation by Eleventh Hour of a novel that charts the story of London barrister, Ingrid Lewis, and her life after defending her client John Webster against a stalking charge. In the novel written by crime writer Jane Casey, he turns on Ingrid, following her, ruining her relationship and even destroying her home - but he claims she is in grave danger.
Quay Street was cornered off for filming from late morning but still accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers, controlled through a temporary traffic light system. Quay Street Diner was also being used by the production, with a large number of vehicles parked by the cenotaph.

A sign erected on the edge of the film set apologised for any inconvenience caused during the filming. It also warned people that by passing the sign, they were consenting to the possibility of appearing in the shot.
"Whilst filming should you go beyond this point you may appear within shot," the sign read. "By passing this sign you hereby grant the production company all permissions for your likeness to appear within the programme in any and all media, worldwide and in perpetuity."
Filming for The Killing Kind began at the start of this year with film crews spotted outside Bristol Cathedral, on East Street in Bedminster and at Clifton College. On Monday, Queen Square was also transformed into a huge film set for the show.
The limited series is also being shot at purpose-built sets at The Bottle Yard Studios, a premium film facility in south Bristol. It is one of several new projects being filmed in the city, including Rivals and Alex Rider.
There is no air date for The Killing Kind as of yet, with the six 60-minute episodes to air on Paramount+ in the future.
