Fikayo Tomori, Willian or Mason Mount - Chelsea's goal of the season contenders dissected

Chelsea scored 102 goals in 55 games this season but some will live longer in the memory than others.

There were many to choose from but football.london, after much deliberation, have narrowed them down to four highlights

FIKAYO TOMORI VS WOLVES (a) - 14 September

What a way to score your first Premier League goal. This was one of Chelsea's performances of the season, an afternoon where Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham all found the net and the extent of Frank Lampard's Made in Chelsea revolution really hit home.

While Abraham scored a hat-trick, it was the centre back's 31st minute strike from more than 30 yards that was most memorable. Diogo Jota tried to win possession off Mason Mount on the right wing but his interception saw the ball travel loosely in-field.

It travelled into Tomori's path and he struck it first time with the inside of his right boot, curling into Rui Patricio's top left corner with the Wolves goalkeeper stunned into inaction.

MASON MOUNT VS ASTON VILLA (h) - 4 December

The midfielder's fifth of the campaign was the culmination of some exquisite build up play. Willian danced a little on the right before finding Abraham with a cross requiring little back lift.

Abraham was tightly marked and had his back to goal but he chested the ball perfectly into Mount's path, who drilled into the roof of the net with a right-footed first time strike on a night that ended up less comfortable than it should have with a 2-1 win.

WILLIAN VS SPURS (a) - 22 December

This was one of Chelsea's best overall performances of the season and the opener stood out for the manner in which it caught Spurs off guard as much as the quality of finish.

The Brazilian took a short corner on the left to Mateo Kovacic, who then played an immediate return pass.

Serge Aurier, Spurs' right back who was torn apart for the duration, was slow to react and Willian cut inside, dropped a couple of stepovers before curling a lovely right-footed finish into the bottom right corner.

MASON MOUNT VS WOLVES (h) - 26 July

Another big goal for the young midfielder on the final game of the season with Chelsea requiring a positive result to seal top-four qualification.

Mount had tried this type of free kick numerous times before but on this occasion the execution was spot on, curling the ball over the wall and then dipping it past Patricio, who was stranded once again.
