Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount - Chelsea's predicted team to face Brighton

Chelsea take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon as they look to secure their first Premier League home win of the season.

The Blues have had two draws and a defeat at Stamford Bridge in the league so far, but will be buoyed by the 7-1 hammering of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Frank Lampard played several youngsters throughout the night, with Billy Gilmour, Ian Maatsen, Marc Guehi and Tino Anjorin all getting minutes in the match.

However, they are going to miss out this time around with the Premier League returning, with them set to play for the U23s against Leicester City tomorrow afternoon.

But there could be first team chances for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James, who made their return from injury in midweek and are set to be part of the squad against the Seagulls.

"Yeah they are in the squad. They have performed well the other day," Lampard said. "I was delighted for Reece to get his first goal, Callum to get his goal and they have shown the quality that they have.

"Reece, because he has been away, it was good for the home fans to see him, Callum we know what he can do and now they’re back fit they are pushing."

It is likely that they will be on the bench, however, with Cesar Azpilicueta to come back in at right-back and Willian and Mason Mount returning to the starting XI.

Fikayo Tomori is set to return into the heart of the defence, with Lampard confirming that Andreas Christensen is ready to be back fit and could be in the starting XI.

Marcos Alonso is set for a busy time with Emerson Palmieri's hamstring injury keeping him out until after the international break in mid-October.

Lampard has liked the midfield three of N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, which would likely mean a return to 4-3-3, with Tammy Abraham back leading the line.

Chelsea predicted XI (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Tomori, Christensen, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Mount.
