New figures have revealed the scale of the firefighting operation during a devastating blaze at Cribbs Causeway Premier Inn.
The fire started on the third floor of the hotel shortly after 1pm on Wednesday (July 17) and caused extensive damage to the building after spreading overnight.
A dramatic video captured the fire taking hold, with further footage showing part of the hotel collapsing onto the road where the blaze was at its worst.
More than 60 firefighters were involved in fighting the fire while black smoke could be seen billowing across Bristol's skyline.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary declared a major incident due to the fire, as the force was already stretched dealing with Extinction Rebellion protesters .
Figures released by Avon Fire and Rescue highlight the scale of last week's major operation and the resources used to get the fire under control.
In particular, firefighters used around 6,000 litres of water per minute during the operation and spent 42 hours in total battling the flames.
Demolition work has now begun at the hotel following the fire.
The ambulance service told Bristol Live last week there were no reports of injuries.
Video footage also captured the moment a Premier Inn sign collapsed from the top of the building as firefighters attempted to tackle the flames.
