Figure skate champ Rika Kihira, shogi sensation Sota Fujii turned into hina dolls by famous Tokyo doll maker

Hina dolls miniaturizing figure skater Rika Kihira, front right, who won the ISU Grand Prix Final in December, and shogi seven-dan player Sota Fujii, front left, are on display until Friday at the shop of famous doll maker Kyugetsu Co. in Taito Ward, Tokyo, ahead of the Hina Matsuri doll festival on March 3. The 16-year-olds were selected as next-generation icons expected to make a splash this year. Dolls of Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako are also displayed. These dolls are not for sale.
