Fight overseas? Kai Kara-France recalls that time he fought over sea … on a cruise ship

With Dana White suggesting that UFC 249 may take place overseas, Kai Kara-France recalled the time he actually fought over the seas.

UFC flyweight Kara-France once competed on a cruise ship in Thailand in 2015, where he made quick work of his opponent, proving that they don’t call him “Don’t Blink” for nothing.

So with uncertainty surrounding UFC 249, why not lock Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson in an octagon in the middle of the sea with just a referee and a few cornerman? That would be considered isolation, no? Probably not a realistic option, but hey, it’s been done before. Just ask Kara-France.
