A fight over counterfeit Lollapalooza tickets just outside of the festival sent three people to the hospital Sunday evening.

Around 5:45 p.m., two men, 38 and 29, got into a physical altercation with a 26-year-old man who allegedly sold them and two others counterfeit tickets to the event in the 500 block of South Michigan Avenue, Chicago police said. The three went through a glass window of a nearby hotel.

The 38-year-old man suffered minor cuts to his head and both of his legs. The 29-year-old suffered a laceration to his left leg and the 26-year-old accused seller had minor cuts to his back, head and both of his legs, police said.

All three were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized, police said.

The alleged ticket seller is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
