Fifty Shades fans think Netflix's 365 DNI is 'even hotter' - but not everyone's impressed

Fifty Shades of Grey fans have found themselves a raunchy new obsession.

An English version of the Polish movie 365 DNI (also known as 365 Days) has just landed on Netflix in the UK.

The film is an adaptation of the erotic book of the same name by Blanka Lipińska and stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone.

According to the plot description on the streaming platform, the film follows "a fiery executive in a spiritless relationship".

The executive, named Laura Biel, "falls victim to a dominant mafia boss" named Massimo Torricelli "who imprisons her and gives her one year to fall in love with him".

As you might have already worked out, the film contains plenty of racy sex scenes in a number of different locations.

There's also some scenes where Laura and Massimo attend a BDSM party and experiment with bondage.

Viewers have branded 365 DNI the "kinkiest" thing they've ever seen and joked that it makes Fifty Shades and Christian Grey seem "almost PG" in comparison.

Taking to Twitter, fans did not hold back their thoughts.

One person wrote: "365 DNI is how you should do Fifty Shades."

Another posted: "Watching 365 DNI and f***....So f***ing hot. I mean, this is what 50 shades the movie should have been like."

A third was desperate for more after seeing the film: "The thing that SUCKS about 365 DNI being on Netflix is that we gotta wait for the next two movies to come out in Europe and THEN hit Netflix. The books aren’t even written in English. Only in Polish. God hates me."

"365 DNI makes 50 Shades look rated PG," added someone else.

However not everyone was impressed with the movie and others have called it out for glamorising kidnapping.

A different user proclaimed: "If you haven't heard of this movie yet, you're about to. It's just been released on Netflix, and it attempts to portray kidnapping and gaslighting as sexy and romantic."

Others agreed, saying that it was just another example of how "awful" 2020 has been as a year.

Another person was concerned the film would encourage violent behaviour, so shared this reminder: "Please remember that there is a huge difference between fantasy and reality. If you are a guy, pls don't get any ideas. No girl wants to be kidnapped and made to fall in love."
