Fifteen people in kebab shop brawl - man admits involvement

A St Werburghs man had admitted affray after a mass brawl at a kebab house in St Paul's.

Police were called to reports of some 15 people fighting with weapons at the premises in Ashley Road on May 8.

Carnell Wright, 29, of Stafford Road, St Werburghs, appeared via video link before Bristol Crown Court today. (July 14, 2020)

He denied a charge of violent disorder, with others, but pleaded guilty to affray and his plea was accepted.

Judge Julian Lambert adjourned his case for sentence before The Recorder of Bristol His Honour Judge Peter Blair QC on August 21.

Wright was remanded in custody.
