Fifteen men arrested following investigation into disorder ahead of Rangers vs Celtic game

Fifteen men have been arrested following an investigation into fan disorder ahead of the Rangers v Celtic game.

It came after a disturbance broke our near Forge Retail Park, Glasgow at around 10.45am on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Police Scotland officers attended the scene and five men aged between 18 and 31-years-old were arrested at the time.

Retrospective enquiries also resulted in a further ten men being identified, arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

All of the men, who are aged between 17 and 40-years-old, have been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

They are also subject to football banning orders, preventing them from attending any regulated matches in Scotland.

All will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and enquiries are ongoing.
