Fife Viewforth High School fire: Six engines tackle huge blaze in Kirkcaldy

Six fire crews are currently tackling a huge blaze that has engulfed an old school building in Kirkcaldy.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the major incident at Viewforth High School this evening.

Dramatic footage sent to Edinburgh Live appears to show parts of the building and roof 'collapsing' as they surrender to the flames.

Pictures show some Fife locals gathering outside the fire to watch in shock and one eyewitness told Edinburgh Live :"It all went up within half an hour."
