Fife locals troll estate agent's bid to sell 'crack den' home for £65,000

Fife locals have taken to social media to mock a home for sale, which some suggested is 'a dump.'

Images of the £65,000 property appeared online last week advertising the Glenrothes home, but hundreds of Facebook users weren't impressed.

Many of the rooms were covered in clutter, strewn with litter and there was even empty bottle of booze surrounding the living room, reports the Daily Record.

One local suggested that the run down house resembled a 'crackden', penning: “What's the price I am looking for a new crack den.”

Another local joked: “Any booze left in that kitchen? Asking for a mate.”

Estate agent Brighton & Beck described the property as a “mid-terrace townhouse with attached garage in a popular residential area of Glenrothes.”

Photos of of the home show a living room covered in beer cans and alcopop bottles, the kitchen surrounded by clutter and pet food and a room that appears to be missing the floor.

However not everyone judged the property on looks alone and many suggested it could the be the perfect fixer upper or first time home.

Carol Page posted: “Good sized house all the stuff can be chucked and you're left with an empty shell.”

While Marion Leggat wrote: "Just needs a wee tidy up."
