Fife garden horror as sick thugs scatter bodies of dead chickens on doorsteps and driveways

Thugs killed stolen chickens before scattering their bodies across Fife properties.

Police have launched an investigation after the animals where taken from Easter Cartmore Farm in Lochgelly and slaughtered.

Multiple dead birds were then discovered in gardens and driveways by horrified residents.

The disturbing incident happened overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Now officers are are appealing for information as they follow 'a positive line of enquiry'.

Sergeant Donald Sutherland, of Cowdenbeath Police Station, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we would ask anyone with CCTV footage in the area or who may have information that could assist with our investigation to contact police.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0865 of 3 May.
