Fifa Women's World Cup 2019 top scorers: Latest goal standings in Golden Boot race

The Fifa Women's World Cup is in full swing, with the contenders whittled down the semi-finals.

Holders USA are through to the final after beating England 2-1, and will be joined by either Netherlands or Sweden in Lyon on July 7.

While lifting the World Cup would obviously trump any personal glory, the race is on to win the Golden Boot in France.

USWNT star Alex Morgan and England forward Ellen White have both hit six goals, though Morgan has one more match to try and take the award outright - as will Megan Rapinoe, who has scored five times but was rested against the Lionesses.

Sam Kerr has also hit five, but Australia have been knocked out of the tournament. Another USWNT star, Carli Lloyd, is in the hunt, while Italian duo Aurora Galli and Cristiana Girelli have also found the net three times.

Brazil veteran Cristiane and France's Wendie Renard found the net four times, but - along with Spain's Jennifer Hermoso (3) - will play no further part after being knocked out of the competition.

So, who will be collecting the Golden Boot at the end of the tournament? Here's how things stand so far...
