Football fans, rejoice! We’re a mere two weeks away from the kick-off of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and to help you get settled into FIFA fever, the gamesmen over at Hasbro have dropped an official range of games, designed in collaboration with the global tournament, to bring the energy of match day into your living room.
There are four new games to collect: Monopoly Deal FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition, Connect 4 Shots FIFA World Cup 2026, Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Board Game and Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Trading Cards Booster Box.
It’s all the classics you know and love, only with a FIFA twist.
Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Board Game
Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Edition completely overhauls the classic board game into a fast-paced, collectible trading card game. Instead of purchasing properties and collecting rent, players travel the board to take control of historic World Cup matches and draft a squad using the 16 authentic Panini chromium cards included in the box (featuring stars like Messi, Mbappé, and other historic legends). When an opponent lands on your match space, you trigger a live matchup where you face off by comparing your players’ football stats and rolling special ‘attack and defence’ dice to determine the winner. It essentially functions as a hybrid board game and trading card starter kit.
Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup retails for $59 and is available from Big W.
Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Booster Box
If you love ‘blind box’ trading cards and board games, you’re going to love Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Edition Booster Box. Instead of a standard board game, this game serves as an addition to the above game. The Booster Box includes 24 Monopoly Panini Prizm FIFA cards and is designed for collecting or playing with.
Monopoly Panini Prizm: FIFA World Cup Booster Box will cost ya $49 and is available from Big W.
Connect 4 Shots FIFA World Cup 2026
If you’ve never played the standard Connect 4 Shots, it replaces the classic coins with a frenetic, real-time race where you frantically bounce ping-pong-style balls into a grid. For the World Cup edition, they gave it a complete stadium makeover. They changed the mechanics entirely to mimic a tense penalty shootout. You get two launcher paddles shaped like soccer boots, and you smack the lever to ‘kick’ the balls through the air and aim them straight into the grid.
The basic rule of Connect 4 still applies. However, there is zero turn-taking. Both players (or teams) line up at the same time and just start hammering your cleat launchers as fast as humanly possible, trying to get four of your colour balls in a row (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally). If the grid fills up and nobody has scored four-in-a-row, it goes to sudden death, and whoever launches and scores the ‘golden ball’ wins the match.
Sounds chaotic good, huh?!
Connect 4 Shots FIFA World Cup 2026 is a cool $34.95 and is available from Big W.
Monopoly Deal FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition
It’s the same fast, brutal, friendship-ending card game we all know and love, only FIFA-fied. In regular Monopoly Deal, your goal is to collect three complete property sets. In the FIFA 2026 Edition, properties are replaced by soccer positions and player roles. Players compete to be the first to collect three player sets, each in a different colour, to win. But in chaotic Monopoly fashion, opponents can gain an edge with ‘action cards’ that let them earn goals, double the lead, demand points from other players, steal and swap players and more.
Monopoly Deal FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition will set you back $12 and is available from Big W.
Sounds like a damn good way to pass some time between matches.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11 and will run until July 19.
