FIFA and Fortnite players can earn extra cash during lockdown by teaching others to play

With the UK currently on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and many people out of work, you might find yourself looking for new ways to make a little cash.

Well, if you're a lover of video games, you might be in luck.

That's because online marketplace Bidvine is looking to hire 'gaming coaches' to teach people who are self-isolating how to play games such as FIFA, Fortnite and Call of Duty.

Many Brits will be stuck inside for the foreseeable future and, if they plan on gaming during this time, hiring a coach could be an ideal way to hone their skills.

Those who are looking to earn some money while stuck at home can register their interest in becoming a video game coach by selecting the right service category at bidvine.com/providers/new.

Successful applicants can choose how much they would like to be paid per hour or session but can earn as much as £30 an hour, dependent on the region they live and the demand for the service.

Russ Morgan, co-founder of Bidvine.com said: "There will be many people out there looking for ways to earn some extra income during self-isolation, so we wanted to highlight one of our most popular services to ensure that those who are passionate about gaming are aware they can charge to teach others how to be the best using their skills.

"There is demand for this."

He added: "It'll also be a time where many will have more free time than they know what to do with, so it could well be the perfect opportunity to climb the ranks in one or two of the most popular game franchises.

"There is a lot of money to be made in eSports which has risen in popularity exponentially in recent years; coaching could well lead to breakthrough stars in the sport."
