FIFA 22 Road to the Final promo details

The FIFA 22 Ultimate Team RTTF (Road to the Final) promo will feature a squad of players from clubs within the current Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League campaigns. These RTTF promo cards are live items that get upgraded depending on their club's progression in their respective competition.

Players included in the promo will start the promo with a boosted rating, and all of them have a total of five potential upgrades.

How cards will upgrade in FIFA 22's RTTF promo (EA SPORTS FIFA)

The five upgrades will be given for winning the first knock out game after Friday's release, qualifying for quarter-finals, qualifying for semi-finals, qualifying for finals, and winning the tournament.

Each player included in the promo does not have to play or be selected in the squad to receive an upgrade, but if the player is for whatever reason removed from the 25-man squad list or is transferred to another team, they will no longer receive any upgrades.

If a player's team is eliminated from their competition, then that also means their player item will stop upgrading, freezing at its current rating.

In FUT 21, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Real Madrid's Eden Hazard, Man United's Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, Man City's Joao Cancelo and Gabriel Jesus and Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies all received RTTF player items.

Powered by Football, EA SPORTS FIFA 22 brings the game even closer to the real thing with a new season of innovation across every mode and groundbreaking next-gen HyperMotion gameplay technology on PlayStation5 that elevates every moment of the match.
