With the release of FIFA 22 a few weeks away, the top 100 player ratings will start to be revealed from Friday, September 10, with many Premier League players expected to feature on the list.
EA Sports has released a lot of FIFA 22 news over the last couple of weeks in the lead up to the official release in the UK and worldwide on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Based on previous years, the full slate of ratings won’t be revealed until players have FIFA 22 in their hands and can search for their favourite footballers, but in the lead-up to each game’s release, the top 100 are usually are announced gradually in the build-up to the official release date.
The FIFA Ultimate Team game mode is hugely popular with FIFA players, allowing players to create their own clubs in their own unique style and build a custom squad of players. EA recently revealed that over 13 million clubs have been created within the mode.

We predict that Cristiano Ronaldo will be 92 rated and the highest rated Premier League player on FIFA 22, closely followed by Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne with both players rated at 91 overall.
Harry Kane is expected to receive an upgrade to his player rating, increasing to a 90 rating, matching Virgil van Dijk's rating with the Dutch defender ranking as the highest rated defender, beating Manchester City duo Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias.
A handful of players are rated at 89 overall, including Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes who is expected to receive a significant upgrade for FIFA 22 after another impressive season for Manchester United.
Premier League new additions Romelu Lukaku and Jadon Sancho are both expected to receive boosts to their player ratings, as we predict they will both be 88 rated overall.
Brazilian duo Alisson and Ederson are both expected to be 89 rated as the joint-best goalkeeping options for FIFA players to choose in their teams on FIFA 22.
Liverpool have the most players in the highest rated Premier League FIFA 22 team, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah all featuring.
These cards and ratings are predictions only and whilst we await confirmation from EA Sports regarding the final FIFA 22 player ratings.
EA have already confirmed that FIFA 22 has an official UK and worldwide release date of October 1, 2021, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 slightly earlier than this.
If you pre-order the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC you’ll be able to play from September 27, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game's official UK and worldwide release date of October 1, 2021.
