Futties has arrived in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team featuring special items for Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Mohamed Salah.
Historically, the Futties promo is a FUT event which tends to arrive towards the end of a FIFA title's lifecycle, with the promo featuring re-releases of heavily upgraded cards. The arrival of Futties in FIFA 22 signals the end of the Shapeshifters promo, with four teams being released during the event, but leaks suggest that Futties could run on even longer than four weeks.
A new loading screen was added to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 18:00 PM BST confirming the release date of the Futties promo as well as teasing some special cards which are set to be re-released during the event. And there are also special Futties player items, including FUT Heroes-type card, which feature a unique chemistry boost.

FIFA 22 Futties 'Best Of' Batch 1 revealed
Over the years FIFA fans have grown familiar with Futties promos, which feature the release of 'Best Of' squads, with EA re-releasing batches of the best players released during the FUT calendar back into packs. This year, rather than releasing one squad at a time, EA have re-released 100 special players items in-game from across the promo's in FIFA 22 - with the 'Best Of' squad just highlighting the best 11 players included.
