Most FUT 22 Division Rivals players will get relegated automatically when FUT Season 2 begins, EA has revealed.
Speaking on EA's Top Bins show, which was released on the @EAFIFADirect Twitter account, Joel Doonan (Player First Operations (PFO) Producer for EA FIFA) and Gabriel Zaro (Community Lead at EA SPORTS FIFA) revealed the major changes that will be happening for FUT players in the FIFA 22 FUT Season 2.
FIFA 22 FUT Season 2 will start on Thursday, November 11 at 08:00 GMT, following the end of FUT Season 1, EA has confirmed.
When FUT Season 2 begins on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, your FUT Champions qualifications points and FUT Champions Finals entry token will carry over into FUT Season 2, but in regards to FUT Champions Play-Offs, if you are in incomplete Play-Offs when the season ends players, you will have to replay all of your matches in that competition as it will reset to 0 matches played.
If you're in a FUT Champions Play-Offs campaign now, make sure to complete all of your matches or manually end your campaign before FUT Season 1 ends in order to secure the correct rewards.
FIFA 22 FUT Season 2 Division Rivals Relegation
FUT Season 2 will also see players being automatically relegated in FUT 22 Division Rivals, but this can change depending on which division you are in when Season 2 begins.
Here's how the Division Rivals relegation will work at the start of FUT 22 Season 2.
Players in Division 6 and higher will be relegated two divisions in FIFA 22 Division Rivals, including those in the Elite division. Players in Division 7 and 8 will be relegated one division in FIFA 22 Division Rivals Players in Division 9 and 10 will remain in the current division in FIFA 22 Division Rivals.

- Players in the Elite division will be relegated to Division 2 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
- Players in Division 1 will be relegated to Division 3 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 2 will be relegated to Division 4 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 3 will be relegated to Division 5 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 4 will be relegated to Division 6 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 5 will be relegated to Division 7 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 6 will be relegated to Division 8 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 7 will be relegated to Division 8 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 8 will be relegated to Division 9 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 9 will remain in Division 9 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
Players in Division 10 will remain in Division 10 in FUT 22 Division Rivals
FIFA 22 FUT Champions qualification changes
EA has also revealed that players will need 2,000 FUT Champions points to qualify for the FUT Champions Play-Offs in FUT 22 Season 2, this has increased from 1,500 FUT Champions points in FUT Season 1.
Milestone rewards are also being increased for FUT Season 2 in Division Rivals for all divisions.
However, there will be no changes to weekly rewards in Division Rivals, FUT Champions rewards or Squad Battles rewards.
