FIFA 22 Elite Division Rivals Player Pick rewards issue as players get wrong items

The FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Division Rivals rewards are broken again, with some players receiving Rare Gold items in their TOTW Player Picks.

This FIFA 22 Ultimate Team issue seems to be impacting those who finished in the Elite Division within FUT 22 Division Rivals, who are supposed to receive a Red Player Pick (1 of 3, Untradable) that contains three TOTW items, as part of the Upgrade Rewards category.

But there are various reports circulating on social media that appears to show FIFA 22 players who finished in the Elite Division during this week's Division Rivals competition, opening their Red Player Pick reward only to be given the choice of three random Rare Gold items, rather than the three TOTW items that are stipulated in the rewards.

EA are aware of the issue and have released a statement, confirming the players who have been impacted by this ongoing issue.

A tweet from the official FIFA Direct Communication Twitter page @EAFIFADirect said: "We're currently investigating reports that some players did not receive the correct Player Pick from their Elite Division Rivals Rewards.

"Eligible players claiming their rewards from now should have no problems.

A follow-up tweet then stated: "We'll update this thread once we've fully investigated the reported issue."

For players who qualified for the Elite Division Rivals rewards, those players should now be able to claim their correct rewards, including the correct Red Player TOTW Pick.

But for those who have already claimed their Elite Division Rivals rewards and have not received the correct rewards, make sure to return to this page when EA release a further statement, as we will be updating this story as it develops.

The FIFA 22 FUT Season 2 began on November 11 at 08:00 GMT, with EA confirming that players will be automatically relegated in FUT 22 Division Rivals, but this can change depending on which division players are in when Season 2 begins.

EA had several issues at this stage last week following the release of FUT Season 2, with players reporting that their FUT Champions qualification points had been reset, whilst some players were also awarded a free tradeable Base Icon item following incorrect items that were given out in the Base Icon SBC.

FIFA 22 is the latest game within EA's popular FIFA video game franchise, which was released worldwide on Friday, October 1, 2021. The game is available now on all platforms including Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia and PC.
