With the FUT 21 OTW promo coming to an end and Halloween fast approaching, the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream promo is due to launch soon.
The Ultimate Scream promo is a big favourite with the FIFA Ultimate Team community, and there are big expectations for the promo in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. In this Ultimate Scream promo, selected players are given huge ratings upgrades and attribute upgrades to celebrate Halloween.
In FUT 20, two squads (22 players) were released two weeks apart, with a number of other players released through SBC's and objectives, with the massive upgrades given to the selected players remaining for the entire FIFA 20 Ultimate Team cycle.

The FUT Ultimate Scream promo has featured some amazing cards since the promo began in FIFA 16, with players like Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino, James Rodriguez, Dele Alli, Thomas Muller, Iago Aspas, Toni Kroos, Adama Traore and Lorenzo Insigne among the players included in the FUT 20 Ultimate Scream promo.
So, what can we expect for the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream promo? When will the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream be released? And, what players could be included in the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream promo?
FIFA 21 Ultimate Scream predicted release date
Traditionally, the FUT Ultimate Scream promo has been released on a Friday, around two weeks before Halloween on October 31. For FUT 20, the Ultimate Scream promo began on Friday October 18, 2019 and for FUT 19, the Ultimate Scream promo began on October 19, 2018.
Following the same pattern, it's likely that the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream promo is likely to start on Friday October 23 2020, with the first Ultimate Scream squad released at 6pm UK time. There is also likely to be two Ultimate Scream squad releases in FUT 21, to match what happened in FUT 20, with the second FUT 21 Ultimate Scream squad likely to be released the day before Halloween on Friday October 30 2020 at 6pm UK time.
However, with FIFA 21 being released later than usual FIFA titles this year, EA could easily delay the release of the Ultimate Scream promo until October 30, 2020 if they wished. If this happens, the second Ultimate Scream squad would be released on November 6, 2020.
FIFA 21 Ultimate Scream predictions
Some players have featured regularly in recent Ultimate Scream promos, with players like Marouane Fellaini, Thomas Muller, Hakan Calhanoglu, Dimitri Payet, Mario Mandzukic, Mario Balotelli and Mesut Ozil all featuring twice in recent years.
Here are some players we think could be included in the FUT 21 Ultimate Scream promo. in FUT 20, the 22 players included in the Ultimate Scream promo received upgrades that remained for the entirety of FUT 20, we expect the same to happen in FUT 21.

In FUT 20, this is what was on offer for players in the Ultimate Scream promo.
- FUT Pack Offers - 12.5k, 15k, 25k, 35k, 45k and 50k packs.
- Themed Squad Building Challenges - Six Ultimate Scream player items, packs worth up to 55k coins, kits, tifos and badges.
- Themed Objectives - Two Ultimate Scream player items, packs worth up to 10k coins, balls, tifos, celebrations, stadium themes and styles.
- Themed Player Items - 22 Ultimate Scream players (two squads) were available in packs with upgraded ratings as unique items.
We think FUT 21 players can expect similar to the above in terms of content in this year's FUT Ultimate Scream promo.
FIFA 21 is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, having been released on October 9, 2020.
