FIFA 21 Division Rivals rewards guide including reward tiers and release time

When it comes to the FIFA 21 Division Rivals competition, it's all about the rewards, with coins and player packs on offer.

Division Rivals is a weekly competition within the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode, with players facing off against each-other via online matchmaking. The competition is split into ten different divisions and each division contains players of differing playing ability, with Division 10 being the lowest and Division 1 containing the very best players on FUT 21.

There are also ranks within each different division, depending on how many Division Rivals points you earn during each week. Points are given out for match results. Rewards for this game mode differ depending on which division you're in and which individual rank you've placed in within that week.

The Division Rivals rewards on offer include coin rewards, tradable player pack rewards and untradeable player pack rewards, with each division and rank giving different rewards.

FIFA 21 Division Rivals rewards release time

The Division Rivals competition runs weekly from Thursday until the following Thursday, with Division Rivals rewards being released on Thursday mornings at 7am GMT (UK time). For players not based in the UK, here are the full international release times, 12am PDT, 2am CDT, 3am EDT, 9am CEST and 5pm AEDT (Following day).

When you first start playing Division Rivals, you will play five 'placement' matches within the mode and depending on the results you achieve in those five games, you will be added into an appropriate division. You will then receive a placement reward, which again depends on which division you are placed in. In addition, as you advance through the divisions. you will receive division promotion rewards too.

New for FIFA 21, you can only play a total of 30 Division Rivals games to increase your Weekly Score. Through this change, players who play Rivals more than 30 times per week can continue to make progress against Objectives, earn higher Skill Ratings, and climb to new Divisions, but will NOT earn additional Weekly Score.

So, if you've bought the FIFA 21 Champions Edition or the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition, you can start playing the full game right now! But, for those with the FIFA 21 Standard Edition, you will be able to access the full game from October 9.

EA have confirmed that when you purchase FIFA 21 on Xbox, PS4 or PC, you'll have access to something called Dual Entitlement, which will enable you to upgrade your copy of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, at no extra cost. The Dual Entitlement offer will let you upgrade your copy of the game at no extra cost up until the release of FIFA 22.
