FIFA 20 pre-orders open as a new game mode is revealed

EA have announced preliminary details for FIFA '20 with early pre-orders already being taken from selected retailers.

Information, as usual, is at a premium in these early stages, but new kits, new leagues and new modes including the return of fan's-favourite 'FIFA Street' have already been confirmed.

This past weekend a somewhat ambiguous introductory trailer video was released as well as early screenshots from the upcoming demo.

The demo, if these 'leaked' images are to be believed, seems to include the two Premier League sides embroiled in an arduous battle for the title last season, Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as a few European powerhouses.

One hugely exciting development for fans of the series is the announcement that 'FIFA Street' will be making a return - although early indications, much to many's disappointment, suggest that the feature will not be available online.

The 'Volta Football Mode' will include 3v3 rush with no goalkeeper, 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5 and Professional Futsal.

While it's still early days - 109 days before release, to be precise! - pre-orders are being taken through Amazon and GAME with prices from £44.99 for the Nintendo Switch version and £54.99 for XBox and Playstation versions.

FIFA '20 will be available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

A 'Champions Edition' - which comes complete with a host of FUT perks and 'special edition' player packs - will also be released simultaneously and costs £79.99.
