FIFA 20: Manchester City Ultimate Team player ratings predictions

With FIFA 20 now only a few weeks ago, it won't be long until players can test out Manchester City on the new game, as they are expected to be announced as a playable team on the FIFA 20 demo, which is coming soon.

After another outstanding season, in which City retained the Premier League title, some major FIFA 20 ratings upgrades are expected, with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ederson in line for boosts when the ratings are announced ahead of the game's release date.

EA SPORT FIFA 20 on PlayStation ® 4, Xbox One, and PC officially launches September 27, 2019. However, you can play from September 24th with 3 Days Early Access, if you purchase the Champions or Ultimate edition.

Ahead of the game's release, here are our FIFA 20 Man City Ultimate Team player ratings predictions:

Ederson

(Manchester City FC via Getty Ima)

Ederson is now one of the best goalkeepers in world football, unrivalled with the ball at his feet and an excellent shot stopper.

His rating of 86 on FIFA 19 is nowhere near good enough, so expect his rating to be upgraded in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 86

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 88

Claudio Bravo

However, due to his age, expect a slight downgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 79

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 78

Kyle Walker

(Man City via Getty Images)

Walker had a good but unspectacular 2018/19 season, providing only one assist in the Premier League.

However, he has done enough to show that his rating remains the same in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 84

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 84

Joao Cancelo

Cancelo has joined City off the back of a great season at Juventus, so he could get a slight upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 83

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 84

John Stones

(Manchester City FC via Getty Ima)

Stones had an inconsistent campaign last year, eventually losing his place to Vincent Kompany in the title run-in.

However, he still developed as a defender and should retain his rating in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 82

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 82

Aymeric Laporte

(Getty Images)

The Frenchman is undoubtedly one of the best central defenders in the world on current form, having played a massive part in City's success since his arrival.

His 84 overall rating in FIFA 19 is almost an insult, he should be getting a big upgrade in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 84

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 87

Nicolas Otamendi

(Getty Images)

Otamendi didn't feature as much as he would have liked last year, making just 14 Premier League starts, with Guardiola favouring Stones, Laporte and Kompany.

He could get a slight downgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 86

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 85

Benjamin Mendy

There's no doubting Mendy's quality, but his injury record has been holding him back for some time now.

Despite that, the quality he's shown on the pitch should be enough to get an upgrade, as his 81 rating looks low.

FIFA 19 rating: 81

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 82

Oleksandr Zinchenko

(Getty Images)

One person who has benefited the most from Mendy's injury issues is Zinchenko, who has deputised for the Frenchman and made the left-back spot his own.

He should get a good upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 71

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 76

Angelino

Angelino showed enough in his time at PSV for City to tempt him back this summer, which should get him an automatic upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 77

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 79

Fernandinho

Despite his age, the Brazilian remains one of City's most important players, so his 87 overall rating should be retained in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 87

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 87

Rodri

Rodri took to the Premier League like a duck to water against West Ham, proving that he's perfectly suited to this City side.

His overall rating should see a significant increase.

FIFA 19 rating: 82

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 85

Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne is one of the best midfielders in the world, and with Eden Hazard leaving the Premier League, the Belgian could become the highest rated outfield player in the league on FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 91

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 92

David Silva

(Getty Images)

Silva is a true City legend and remains an outstanding player.

He should keep his 89 overall rating.

FIFA 19 rating: 89

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 89

Ilkay Gundogan

(Manchester City FC via Getty Ima)

The 28-year-old signed a new deal with the club this summer, despite his lack of regular game time, with City's having better options in central midfield.

The German is a quality player, but he's not at the same level as the Silva's or De Bruyne.

FIFA 19 rating: 84

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 84

Phil Foden

Foden has shown glimpses of outstanding quality for club and country over the last 12 months, demonstrating his enormous potential.

I think we can expect a slight upgrade in his overall rating.

FIFA 19 rating: 73

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 76

Bernardo Silva

Silva was in fine form under Guardiola last year. (Getty Images)

Bernardo Silva's 84 overall rating on FIFA 19 is incredibly low for a player of his ability, he was one of the best players in the world last season, so he should get a major upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 84

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 88

Raheem Sterling

Sterling has absolutely thrived under Pep Guardiola's management, morphing from an inconsistent winger into a truly world-class wide forward.

He should now be up there with the best players in the world on FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 87

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 89

Leroy Sane

Unfortunately, City fans won't get to see Sane for a while, due to the knee injury he sustained in the Community Shield.

However, he showed enough last season to warrant a small upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 86

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 87

Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez's City career got off to a great start last season, but he gradually fell out of favour and only really returned to the fold towards the end of the season, scoring a wondergoal against Brighton on the final day.

But, he had an incredible African Cup of Nations this summer with Algeria and started City's opening game against West Ham.

An upgrade is surely coming.

FIFA 19 rating: 85

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 86

Gabriel Jesus

(Getty Images)

Despite being second choice for City, Jesus still scored 21 goals last season and showcased his world class quality in the Copa America this summer, leading his country to the tournament win.

He deserves an upgrade.

FIFA 19 rating: 83

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 85

Sergio Aguero

(Getty Images)

Just when you think Aguero has reached his peak, the Argentine gets even better.

The 31-year-old scored 32 goals for City last year, playing a major part in their domestic treble.

Expect him to hit the 90 mark in FIFA 20.

FIFA 19 rating: 89

Predicted FIFA 20 rating: 90
