FIFA 19 Ultimate Team TOTW 34 revealed - Liverpool comeback heroes SNUBBED

Despite Liverpool's brilliant 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle last weekend, there are no Reds players named in this week's FIFA 19 Ultimate Team TOTW 34 lineup.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who registered two assists and won the Man of the Match against the Magpies has been completely snubbed, as has Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who both scored in the win.

And, even though Alexander-Arnold, Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum all played a massive role in Liverpool's extraordinary 4-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final second leg, European performances don't count towards TOTW eligibility, but they may be in line for a special edition Man of the Match FUT card later this week.

Joshua Kimmich, Kenny Lala, Pedro Mendes and Vincent Kompany make up the TOTW 34 defence, instead of Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk.

Kompany scored a stunning long-range effort for Man City in their 1-0 win over Leicester, which gives him a deserved TOTW inclusion.

From elsewhere in the football world, the likes of Timo Werner, Bruno Fernandes, Eden Hazard, Andros Townsend and Julian Brant all make the TOTW first XI.

As a reminder, the TOTW line-up is picked by EA Sports on single performances only, so goals and assists are not added accumulatively within the TOTW period.

Also, players who were included in last week's TOTW are not eligible for selection this week, nor are players who have been involved in a recent promotion.
