Future Forward Party (FFP) representatives went to the Election Commission offices yesterday and demanded it disclose all constituency-based data in order to prevent poll fraud.
FFP registrar Klaikong Waithayakan said his party exercised the people's right under the Official Information Act to seek constituency-based data on eligible voters, ballots, invalid ballots and votes for individual candidates.
"I do not think that this will create too much of a burden on the EC because in this general election the poll agency has gathered all of the figures using electronic means through its app," Mr Klaikong said.
The FFP had received nationwide complaints about attempts to significantly reduce the number of votes cast for the party, he said.
"The disclosure of data about the voters at each polling unit for public examination is a way to help reduce electoral fraud," Mr Klaikong added.
