Football Australia will push ahead with plans to complete the 2021 FFA Cup following the easing of COVID restrictions in Queensland and the Northern Territory.
The competition's round-of-32 fixtures were pushed back due to lockdowns in various states but FA announced on Friday the tournament's final rounds will kick off in mid-September.
A-League team Brisbane Roar will begin the action on September 14 against Peninsula Power at Moreton Daily Stadium.
In other Queensland fixtures, Edge Hill United host Gold Coast Knights at Barlow Park in Cairns on September 15 and Lions FC welcome Casuarina FC to Lions Stadium in Brisbane on September 21.
Defending FFA Cup winners Adelaide United will take on Floreat Athena on September 26 with ECU Joondalup playing Adelaide Olympic three days later.
Venues for both matches are yet to be confirmed.
Sydney FC's mouthwatering derby clash with Sydney Olympic and A-League champions Melbourne City's match-up with South Melbourne are among those fixtures yet to be rescheduled due to the ongoing COVID lockdowns in NSW and Victoria.
The disruption has forced the competition's final to be pushed back from its scheduled date of October 16 but FA say they remain committed to completing the competition this year.
