Fewer trams running in Nottingham due to 'staff shortage'

Fewer tram services across Nottingham will be running over the next couple of days.

NET, the operator, says this is due to a staff shortage.

As a result a Sunday service schedule will be in place across both Wednesday, December 29 and Thursday, December 30.

No reason was given for the staff shortage.

NET says: "We are really sorry. Due to a crew shortage, we'll be running a Sunday service tomorrow and Thursday (29th - 30th)."

Between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Saturday, trams typically run between David Lane and the city every three to five minutes.

Services between Hucknall, Phoenix Park, Toton Lane and Clifton South and the city run every seven to 10 minutes.

Early morning, late night services and Sunday services are less frequent.
