Despite reports of a feud, Prince William and Prince Harry reunited yesterday afternoon to unveil a statue in memory of their late mother Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday.
Harry's bombshell interview alongside his wife Meghan Markle with Oprah Winfrey earlier in 2021 caused serious tensions throughout the Royal Family.
However, William and Harry seem to be getting on far better than previously thought as they were seen smiling and chatting to each other at the event.
Paying tribute to their mum, they said: “Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”
It comes after Harry and William appeared to grow closer in recent days after reportedly exchanging texts, including celebratory messages after England beat Germany 2-0 in the European Championship.
Harry flashed a smile as he walked side by side with William through the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.
As they revealed Diana's statue, Harry and William shared a heartfelt tribute to their mum, who was killed in a Paris car crash in 1997.
They said: "Today, on what would have been our mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character - qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.
"Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother's memory alive."
