American rapper Fetty Wap has been arrested after allegedly punching three employees at a hotel in Las Vegas.

Police said the 28-year-old, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, faces three counts of battery.

The rapper, who performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, was arrested on Sunday morning, police said on Tuesday.

He is alleged to have punched a parking attendant and two other hotel employees after getting into a row at the Mirage hotel, according to TMZ.

Police originally said Wap hit an employee but later said he allegedly "committed a battery" on three.

Wap was arrested in November 2017 and charged with DUI after policy said he was caught drag racing another car in New York.
