Santas, reindeer, elves and lots of Christmas jumpers were on show as the 17th Active Communities Jingle Bell Fun Run took place.
The event in Barshaw Park was back in-person after last year’s virtual race, with 450 runners taking part in the beautiful winter sunshine.
There were two races, a 3k at 11am which was open to those aged eight and over and a 1k at 12noon which was open to all ages.
Gill Mackay from Active Communities said: “Our Jingle Bell Fun Run was a huge success. The weather was ideal and there were lots of happy smiling faces!
“Jingle Bells were provided to all entrants as part of their entry, as well as free face-painting on a first come first served basis.
“We had spot prizes for the best costumes, with everyone making a huge effort on the day to dress in festive costumes and accessories.
“Festive medals were awarded to all finishers.”
Entrants were invited to enjoy a free train ride on the miniature railway, Friends of Barshaw Park had a stall selling wreaths and crafts, while stilt walkers from The Big Top Glasgow entertained the crowds.
The first girl round the 3k was Amy Teasdale in a time of 11.45m and first boy was John Mclean in a time of 11.48m.
