Front-engine, two-seat supercar gets 800hp 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 and 31.5 million baht price tag.
Cavallino Motors, the authorised importer of Ferrari in Thailand, has officially launched the 812 Superfast.
Priced at 31.5 million baht, the 812 Superfast is claimed to use the brand’s most potent naturally aspirated V12 engine. With power rated at 800hp from the 6.5-litre unit, the front-engine, two-seat sports car goes from 0-100kph in 2.9sec.
The 812 Superfast is designed as a replacement for the F12 Berlinetta, which employed 740hp 6.3-litre V12 with a slower 3.1sec acceleration time.
With such performance, the 812 Superfast is without a direct rival. Although cheaper by 7 million baht, the Aston Martin DB11 has 608hp 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12.
The pending all-new Bentley Continental GT has 630hp 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 and is expected to be priced just below the DB11, which currently goes for 24.9 million baht.
